Buddha with One Thousand Arms
The most famous image of Buddha in Vietnam. As you approach the side, you see that the back of the figure is indeed hundreds of arms...

How do you find the people there are doing? Do you see evidence of food/rice shortages? What's the story with the orphanage? Were those kids making jeans? How does it compare to Cuba? I love the links to youtube, by the way, it really makes your pictures come to life.
Love the blog! Photos and comments are great. Makes me want to go! The tropical plants are so nice, reminds me of the summer that is almost here. Though perhaps more lush and asian in Vietnam
